Allen Mountain is a notorious climb, and possibly one of the most painful and uninteresting in the ADK. If you intend to get all 46, this is one of the ones you’re going to have
Mount Marshall via the Avalanche Pass is a long trail and a long day, but offers some fantastic scenery. This trail tends to be unkept and quite wet.
Cliff Mountain and Mount Redfield are two High Peaks deep in the ADK wilderness out past Lake Arnold. Redfield offers exceptionally unique views and Cliff is both challenging and muddy!
Mount Colden is in the far reaches of the ADK area, back near Lake Arnold. Although difficult and muddy, Colden is a blast and one worth a repeat visit.
Big Slide Mountain is a somewhat infamous climb accessible from the Garden parking lot. Along with The Brothers, it offers a great day climb and plenty of great views.
